excellent college/career planning sites (thanks to Mark from ASM)

This is the Chicago Public Schools Post Secondary resource tool which is extremely helpful in providing step by step planning for college and careers.
Of special interest are the Calendar which has tabs for students, parents, educators and all dates and events. Simply go to Calendar on the homepage then go to Upcoming Events and then the specific tab for whatever group you are looking for information on. Additionally, the Pay For College tab on the right hand side of the homepage will lead students and parents to vital information about: FAFSA, FAFSA Made Easy videos, Sallie Mae Financial Aid Planning Tools, Types of Financial Aid, Advising Undocumented Students (college board), and Post Secondary Information and Resources for Students with Disabilities.

"What's Next Illinois" website at:
This website is the State of Illinois resource for all college and career planning that can take youth from the first stages of personal inventories and assessments all the way through college searches, college applications, essay writing, resume writing and career searches, etc. This website is intended to be a lifelong tool for all persons within the State of Illinois to help promote successful Post Secondary outcomes.
